ceramic tiles coasters

This is one of the cutest neatest gifts you can make; and it's SO easy. What you need is 4 tiles (i got mine at Lowes), a stamp set of your choice, staz-on ink, a can of clear coat (you can pick up at wal mart), and sm felt pads, and a coordinating ribbon, we sponged the sides with ink as well. The tag on top was used from the ''oval all stamp set'' one of my favorites.

Just ink your stamp real well then press firmly onto the tile. Set to side until you have went through all four. (if you are using a stamp that could have more color you could use permanent markers) Now before you begin to spray the clear coat on it's important to remember not to spray to close to the tiles. (spraying to close can cause the ink to separate and look like blobby blur.

How to make a re-inker glitter ornament!

Supplies for ornament:
clear glass christmas ornaments ball (found mine at Hobby Lobby)
re-inker in color of your choice
fine grain glitter

you will want to drop about 25-30 drops of ink into glass bulbs n roll the ink until entire bulb is colored/you don't want to shake the color b/c it will create bubbles. then take a napkin and turn bulb upside down to drain out any extra ink. now you take your glitter and scoop up at least two -three spoonfuls into your funnel (i used a small peace of compute paper as mine) and poor into ornament and now you can shake until it's all covered - and then shake out any extra.

The box was a 8'' X 4'' window sheet scored at every 2-1/2''
the top n bottom was the retired "petal card" die. just cut the flaps down a bit and attached the ribbon to the border.

Etch Mug

Perfect gift for your perfect TEXAN! =)
Supplies:
1 glass mug (found at Dollar Tree)
1 paper sack
soft suade cs
crumb cake cs
Our West stamp set # 120543
star punch (retired)
ex-lrg scallop punch
Armour Etch (found at Hobby Lobby)
decal/sticky sheets found on pg 216 or contact paper will work well for this also.

To create this mug is very simple, just use your Big Shot (or whatever tool you have) to cut out whatever saying you like with your decal/sticky sheet-peel off backing and apply as smooth as you can-then take your armour etch to the words only it's important not to get it on any where else on mug (make sure you apply a thick layer/ you will clean off extra after allowing it to sit at least 5mins-after letting it sit now you may wipe off all extra again being careful not to get any where else on mug-then take over to sink and clean well-once you think it is clean dab dry and peel off decal/sticky sheet. now you should have a pretty etched mug. Pretty cool huhh! yep totally love this new project. As for the sack decorate as desired.

shadow box

I was inspired to do this a couple of months ago when SC put our a small demo w/ a shadow box display. I new just the person to make one for. My mommy-n-law on her birthday. You see cancer took her mom and yrs later taking her dad too. She misses them dearly and always shares stories of them. I had so much fun hearing about their lives-it really help me capture the love they shared for 48yrs till death departed them.
